The Litter Box That Doesn't Smell

I switched from a plastic box last week and the difference was immediate. No more ammonia smell lingering in my apartment. My only regret? Not doing this sooner. It's a bit heavier than plastic when you're doing a full litter change, but honestly, that's a small price to pay for never smelling cat pee in my living room again.

I've had cats for 15 years and thought I'd tried everything. Every fancy litter, every deodorizer spray. Nothing worked. The plastic just held onto the smell no matter how much I scrubbed. I finally broke down and bought this stainless steel box and I'm not exaggerating—it was like night and day. People actually visit my apartment now and don't immediately know I have a cat. Worth every penny.

$60 seemed steep for a litter box, I'll be honest. But when I calculated how much I was spending on replacing plastic boxes every year ($20-25), plus all the baking soda and deodorizers ($5-10/month), it actually made sense. I've had this for 8 months now and it still looks brand new. Zero rust, zero smell. My cat took to it immediately. The only "downside" is that you can hear the litter a bit more when they dig, but I just put a thin mat underneath and problem solved.
